On 31 December 2022, AromataGroup completed the merger by incorporation of FIAS, Fabbrica Italiana Aromi Speciali s.r.l., a company acquired by the Nactarome Group in November 2021. As of 1 January 2023, FIAS has thus become AromataGroup, Vanzago plant, and represents the Italian centre of excellence for the Group for vanilla bean products and derivatives.
Thanks to the integration and the excellent technical skills of the FIAS Team, AromataGroup can offer their customers an even more comprehensive portfolio of flavouring and extraction solutions, with a high degree of specialisation in baked goods and traditional Italian artisan ice cream.
In just two months after the merger and with the shared goal of minimising the impact of the transition on all company stakeholders, AromataGroup has already successfully implemented the SAP Business One corporate ERP at the Vanzago site.
The various corporate functions involved continue to operate according to best practices and shared processes, proactively pursuing various projects to complete the integration and resolving minor critical issues that arise in day-to-day operations.
